About the Ledbetter Law Firm
We offer strong representation in traditional litigation, as well as in administrative proceedings. Jim Ledbetter was appointed by former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano to the Arizona Department of Liquor Control, where he has been elected Chairman of the Arizona State Liquor Board. Our attorneys also practice before the Arizona Gaming Commission, the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners, the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, the Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners, the Arizona State Board of Nursing, and many other agency boards.
To benefit our clients, we offer regional and tribal representation. Many of our attorneys are licensed to practice before at least one of the various Indian nations or tribes in Arizona. These include the Navajo Nation, the White Mountain Apache Tribe, the Yavapai-Apache Tribe, the Hualapai Nation, the Hopi Tribe, the Colorado Indian Tribes, the San Carlos Apache Tribe, and the Gila River Indian Community.
Toward serving the profession, Jim Ledbetter has served on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel. He is a well-regarded speaker on professional issues, presenting before such organizations as the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, the Arizona State Bar, the Navajo Nation, and the Defense Research Institute.
Our attorneys are actively involved in a wide range of community service. Jim Ledbetter was Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Verde Valley Medical Center and serves on the Board of Northern Arizona Healthcare, which oversees the operation of hospitals and clinics in Cottonwood, Flagstaff, Sedona, Winslow, and the Grand Canyon. The tradition of service is further exemplified by the Firm's partnership with the Cottonwood Old Town Mission to staff a free legal clinic.
